This amendment removes the requirement that this information be provided at least 24 hours before performing the abortion. Oppose is Moms For America's position as this measure eliminates a critical requirement that may help a woman decide to choose life. This amendment provides that for an abortion after six weeks due to a fatal fetal abnormality, only one physician is required to certify the fetal abnormality, as opposed to two. The bill's provisions cover issues ranging from content moderation, targeted advertising, search engine operations and data privacy with expanded opt-out rules. While there is a role of government to protect individuals from fraudulent practices this overreach significantly limits the ability of tech companies to provide targeted and low-cost advertising to consumers.
