The utility company would then be able to collect the cost of this more expensive fuel from their customers (plus a higher guaranteed profit for the utility). Oppose is Moms For America's position as all energy procurement by utility companies (government-granted monopolies) should be based on the lowest cost fuel source for their customers. This cronyism enriches entities involved with renewable natural gas and hydrogen - well as utility companies - at the expense of everyday Floridians and businesses.

Instead of growing government and central planning, lawmakers should empower the free market to make housing truly "affordable" by reducing stringent zoning regulations which a recent study by Florida State University found has significantly driven up housing costs.

Forcing Taxpayers to Spend $711 Million on Various Government "Affordable Housing" Programs to Enrich Select Developers and Special Interests

This resolution amends the state's Constitution to establish a right to hunt and fish, including the use of "traditional methods," which will be presented before voters in the 2024 election. This bill makes a series of changes to the parole system, generally reducing penalties on offenders who violate the terms of their probation while also placing limits on jail sentences. For example, probation officers can no longer return an offender to jail if they commit a range of offenses such as failing to make restitution payments, pay court costs, associate with people engaged in criminal activity, or leave the county without permission. Instead, the officer must send the offender to an "Alternative Sanctioning Program" which may include just curfew or support group attendance.
