The utility company would then be able to collect the cost of this more expensive fuel from their customers (plus a higher guaranteed profit for the utility). Oppose is Moms For America's position as all energy procurement by utility companies (government-granted monopolies) should be based on the lowest cost fuel source for their customers. This cronyism enriches entities involved with renewable natural gas and hydrogen - well as utility companies - at the expense of everyday Floridians and businesses.

These estimates must contain information on the direct economic impact, compliance cost, and government regulatory cost of the ordinance.
